eCategory Management

There are several sub applications available in eCategory Management. Explanations for each of these sub applications or roles are below.

Planograms - Region administrators post planograms and homestore packets. Vendors can drop off planograms for approval by Category Manager and automated e-mails are sent to the CM's and their staff. Retailers and vendors can download planograms and home store packets for resets or re-merchandising.

eCaps - Electronic Recapping of Home Store Work - Regional Prism staff create SARs (Store Activity Reports) NICs (New Item Cut-in sheets) from eCategory Management. Vendors, Brokers and Prism staff input completed SARs on eCategory Mangement. Home store implementation data is stored tracked and monitored with on-line reporting available to Prism, Category Managers, vendors, brokers and retailers.

eNotes - Electronic Notification of Full Store Resets - eNotes is a full store reset notification and response application. Full store reset invitations and details are created and automated e-mails are sent to vendors and brokers. Vendors and brokers respond to invitations by confirming their number of attendees at a full store reset. Invitations, responses, confirmations and actual attendees are tracked and monitored with on-line reporting available to Prism, Category Managers, vendors, brokers and retailers.

Regional Item Data - Sales and movement data from SUPERVALU's Central Item database is posted to eCategory Management and is available to vendors, brokers and employees to download by category. The data is updated every period and spans a 52 week time frame.

Auto Distribution - New items are automatically distributed to stores by region category managers. Vendors and brokers are able to view distribution on auto distribution reporting.
