ePOF
ePOF was developed to web-enable the existing Promotional Offer Form submitted to Corporate Retail Banners such as Cub East, Cub West, Scotts, and so on. SUPERVALU's goal is to automate the POF process, thus increasing productivity and accuracy for both SUPERVALU and DSD Vendors.
The ePOF system enables a Vendor to:
- Create new Promotional Offer Forms
- Search for and list existing Promotional Offer Forms
- View Promotional Offer Forms
- Delete Promotional Offer Forms
- Copy and edit Promotional Offer Forms
- Print Promotional Offer Forms
ePOF allows Vendors to utilize data stored in SUPERVALU's Enterprise Advantage (EA) database. Direct access to EA data reduces POF completion time because basic information, like Universal Product Code (UPC), is already in EA. ePOF also has a time-saving copy function whereby information included on a previously completed POF can be used to create a new POF, which means Vendors will not have to retype duplicate information. ePOF also allows upfront validation of items and provides timely notification to Vendors when like items are omitted from a promotion.
Because promotion dates, funding levels, and other contract information feeds directly into SUPERVALU Retail Pricing, Cost and Deals, and Billing systems, accuracy and processing speed will improve significantly. In addition, ePOF allows on-line review of promotions, including promotion status. This functionality enables Vendors to better manage promotion information provided to SUPERVALU Retail.
