SVHARBOR PRIVACY STATEMENT
SUPERVALU INC. respects the privacy of users of svharbor.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Statement discloses how we collect and use information on the Site, and the choices that you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Portions of the Site may request that users who wish to make online requests for information, submit comments regarding our stores or the Site, register for certain services online, or participate in online surveys, contests and promotions, provide personally identifiable contact information. SUPERVALU uses the information you provide for the purposes stated at the point of collection. For example, SUPERVALU uses contact information to respond to a user's inquiry, or to contact a user when the user has expressed interest in being contacted. (a) User Comments
User comments submitted by email are maintained in a database designed to help SUPERVALU improve its customer service. From time to time, SUPERVALU may use the information contained in this database to send gift certificates, coupons or similar items to users of the Site.
(b) Sale of Information/Assets
SUPERVALU does not sell or rent personally identifiable user information collected about or from our users. In the event that SUPERVALU sells or acquires business assets or concerns, in whole or in part, SUPERVALU may transfer user information in conjunction with such sale or acquisition.
(c) Cookies
Cookies are information files that your web browser places on your computer when you visit a website. SUPERVALU uses cookies in connection with its Site to improve its users' interaction with the Site. (d) Your IP Address
An Internet protocol ("IP") address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet. SUPERVALU reserves the right to modify the Privacy Statement at any time without giving you prior notice. Your use of the Site following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Privacy Statement as modified. For this reason, we encourage you to review the Privacy Statement whenever you use the Site. The last date the Privacy Statement was revised is set forth below.
The Site provides users who have requested information from SUPERVALU the opportunity to opt-out of receiving future communications from us. If you do not wish to receive future communications, please email your request to sv.inquire@supervalu.com
3. ACCESS / CORRECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
You may access the data collected by SUPERVALU about you by sending a request to the addresses listed below. If you believe that an error has been made in the accuracy of the data collected from you, you may request that the information be corrected by sending a request to the address below. SUPERVALU will correct the error upon adequate verification of the error and the identity of the person seeking the correction. Please understand that in order to protect your privacy and security, we may need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

4. INTEGRITY / SECURITY OF THE DATA COLLECTED
The Site is not a secure Site. Therefore, information you post to or transmit via the Site cannot be considered secure and safe from intrusion. 5. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
(a) Children and Privacy
The Site is not intended for use by children. SUPERVALU encourages parents and guardians to be familiar with the web sites that their children visit. The Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") regulates the means by which web site operators collect and use personal information from children under 13, pursuant to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (the "Act"). SUPERVALU generally does not collect or distribute personal information from its users, including its users under 13. To the extent that some of the features and services provided in conjunction with the Site require a user to disclose personal information, SUPERVALU requests that children under 13 refrain from using these features or obtain permission from a parent or guardian before using the features. Users under 13 are prohibited from posting any personal information on the Site or any other SUPERVALU web site. SUPERVALU relies on its users to comply with the provisions of this section.
(b) Links to Other Sites
The Site contains links to other web sites. Each of these linked web sites maintains its own independent privacy policies. SUPERVALU does not control and is not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of those web sites. When you leave the Site and access the web sites of third parties, the privacy policies of the parties maintaining those web sites apply.
(c) Disclaimer of Liability
Under no circumstances shall SUPERVALU, its parent SUPERVALU INC., nor any subsidiary or affiliate be liable for any damages, including, but not limited to, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, that result from the use of the information or materials posted to or collected as a results of the user's accessing the Site, even if SUPERVALU has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This and the other sections in the Privacy Statement should be read in conjunction with and are subject to the Terms of Use.
